FIRE DETAIL

The Operators were asked to produce a burning guitar for the front cover of Q Magazine involving Kasabian. With the main guitar element supplied, we undertook replicating real fire burn. Gradually building up different form and texture to create a flaming guitar. Below are a few close up previews of the construct of the guitar burning.

LEATHER PROFILE_F_PERSONAL_CROP

We produced the latest campaign for Axe. The new fragrance that smells like leather had some clever concepts which incorporated photographer Kulbir Thandi’s images. The Operators used reference material of photographic model position and reproduced form and shape in flat pieces of leather within retouch and photographically shot crease and wrinkle position.

Combining the real with hand draw creases within retouch allowed subtle illusions too be formed into the leather.

Colour and overall feel can make a big difference to the final look of an image. Supplied with a snow scene from photographer Graham Thorp. The Operators used a variation of curves and clipping techniques to draw out important detail and shape, while opening the shot to allow for unwanted detail to fall away we were able to create an airy and fresh look.
