A collaborative series with photographer Max Oppenheim and prosthetic artist Bill Turpin in tribute to Charles Burns for his comic ‘Black Hole’. Within this series specific bespoke prosthetic’s were modeled and cast for each individual model. With careful consideration to wardrobe, lighting and style to ‘Black Hole’. The Operators set about finalising the shot within retouch, developing specific colour styles and prosthetic enhancement for each individual shot. Fishing in Paris
Tuesday, March 9th, 2010Photographer Joseph Ford came to The Operators to undertake a complicated multi-part composite. Using multiple photographic frames of water splashes. These were then prepared and independently masked to be able to blend and manipulate the form together. Combining all the frames allowed us to create a specific water form and explosion to complement the dynamics within the shot. All elements from the boat, reflections, water explosions and fish were all combined to create the shot you see below.

Tuesday, March 9th, 2010Working with Australian photographer Adam Dodd. The Operators created and produced an electric, high polished look to the below boat shot. Shot in a studio we undertook creating and defining light trails around the levitating boat and generating the backdrop for the boat to sit in.
