Friday, March 26th, 2010A collaborative series with photographer Max Oppenheim and prosthetic artist Bill Turpin in tribute to Charles Burns for his comic ‘Black Hole’. Within this series specific bespoke prosthetic’s were modeled and cast for each individual model. With careful consideration to wardrobe, lighting and style to ‘Black Hole’. The Operators set about finalising the shot within retouch, developing specific colour styles and prosthetic enhancement for each individual shot. Painted Rooms
Friday, February 19th, 2010Taking a plain white room, we set about painting the individual surfaces within the shot with digital paint. Retaining the definition and modeling of each subject within the shot. We developed individual paint brushes to create and add stroke marks with the paint as well as paint build up and wetness on the surface. Below are the before and after.
