The use and development of technologies has opened up different avenues of technologies. The Operators collaborated with photographer Trigger to create this exciting ice image. With Trigger supplying the back-plate, The Operators undertook the challenging task of modeling all subject matter within the shot and created our own specific textures to make the elements become ice. Using different techniques and layering specific textures and renders in areas of the models. Created cracks, grooves, refraction depth and surface reflection allowed us to create an image which otherwise would have blown the budget being made within set build. Saving time, individually molding, deep freezing, then transporting and storing actual ice sculptures saved so much within post production. CGi was a blessing to use within the production.

The Operators worked closely with Dirk Rees to develop and formulate a specific colour stylisation for his new personal series. Representing power and strength through the game of water polo and dynamic water movement, The Operators helped enhance and define the texture and detail within the series.

We packed our bags and off we went on location in Munich Germany for 9 days. Dragging our retouch kit behind us, we set up for the first 4 days on set retouching. With all eyes on screen, styles and colour were implemented with direction from all parties. Photographer, agency and client. With the first set moving ahead. All kit was packed up and moved into the hotel room. With 24 images to complete within 9 days there was no time for relaxing and the project had to be moved on to meet strict deadlines. We rose to the challenge by hit the mark with all images and celebrated at the end Munich style in one of the classic bear kellars.

“We shot the highly confidential 200EX project for Rolls-Royce. This meant being ‘holed-up’ in a Munich studio for several weeks. Due to a large number of shots and an ambitious deadline, we needed a creative retoucher on location who could get started immediately and continue working as we shot in tandem. The Operators understood exactly what were trying to achieve and together with the photographer, Kulbir Thandi, produced a dramatic and beautiful series of images.â€

His Alive-Snail Animation

SnailAnim_EnterS

We recently created a CGi piece. Just for the love of it. Created in Maya and ZBrush for the intercessory and detailing. We did everything from concept, modeling, texturing, lighting and rendering. We are really pleased with this little character and wanted to take it that extra step forward.

Soooooo we’ve breathed life into and rigged, weighted and animated him. Here is a taster of what we’ve been doing. We’ve created 4 completely individual dances too 4 very different types of music. We’ll keep you up to date with the exciting new arrivals. But for now here is where we are.

Please welcome Snail Entering Scene.

SHARK_F_RGB

We love creating things. Here is our own little project that we recently under took. The sharks were model made, rigged for animation, textured, light and rendered all in-house within 3D. They were then taken into retouch where we created the whole back-plate of the sea and sea surface from scratch.
